Evers Society

The Carl G. Evers, M.D. Society is an honorary and service society at the University of Mississippi Medical Center and is composed of medical students who are elected annually following a vote of the student population. The organization is empowered to facilitate medical curriculum evaluation efforts by fostering communication between medical students and those responsible for curriculum oversight. The primary responsibility for the society is to accurately assess student reaction to all formal coursework offered in preclinical and clinical years of medical school. Student assessments are compiled for and communicated to curriculum leaders as an expected component of course evaluation and curriculum improvement.
